What happens after you submit — the 7-step BC seller journey
Selling a home in BC starts with a Comparative Market Analysis, then a listing contract + DORTS. You'll complete the Property Disclosure Statement, stage and photograph, and go live on MLS® with your Amortization Period assumptions in mind for pricing (rate-sensitive buyers). Common considerations: Property Transfer Tax borne by the buyer, GST New Housing Rebate if you built new, Agricultural Land Reserve status if the parcel is rural, and — for strata — a fresh Form B — Strata Information Certificate. After offer negotiation, buyer completes Subject Removal, delivers deposit, and closes with a lawyer or notary.
