Maple Ridge sits within the temperate oceanic climate zone at the eastern edge of the Fraser Valley, where proximity to the Coast Mountains significantly shapes local weather patterns. Winters are mild and wet, with temperatures typically ranging from around 0°C to 7°C between December and February. Snowfall occurs most years, though accumulations are generally modest compared to higher elevations nearby.
