Namu, BC

Namu is a remote community located on the central coast of British Columbia, situated along Fitz Hugh Sound on the mainland shore approximately 450 kilometres northwest of Vancouver. The nearest regional service hub is Bella Bella, itself a small community accessible primarily by float plane or ferry. The surrounding landscape is quintessentially coastal British Columbia, characterized by rugged fjords, dense temperate rainforest, steep mountain slopes, and the cold, salmon-rich waters of the Pacific Ocean.
